Welcome

    For the past 17 years, William A. Healy has been providing quality legal representation to a wide array of clients in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.  His primary practice covers issues related to the financial services industry.  Mr. Healy has vast experience in cases involving securities fraud and broker misconduct.  He often represents investors who have suffered losses in arbitration claims against large financial firms.  In addition, Mr. Healy has frequently represented financial industry professionals in sales practice litigation, regulatory investigations and employment disputes.

    A native New Yorker, Mr. Healy spent more than six years as a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, serving in both white collar crime and street crime bureaus.  In early 1989, Mr. Healy left the District Attorney's Office and joined the legal staff at Prudential Securities, Inc., a Wall Street brokerage firm.  As a Deputy Regional Counsel for Prudential's Northeast Region, Mr. Healy gained valuable experience in a wide variety of issues relating to the securities industry.

    In late 1993, Mr. Healy and his Maryland-born wife, Carol, moved to Westminster, Maryland, where he joined the firm of Silbiger and Coleman.  Over the ensuing years, Mr. Healy was able to develop a successful securities law practice in which he represented dozens of individual investors, industry professionals and corporate clients, including Prudential Securities, Bear Stearns, and Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc.  In 2002, Mr. Healy left Silbiger and Coleman to open his own law office. 

    As a sole practiticioner, Mr. Healy provides his clients the individual, specialized attention they deserve.  He is accessible, hands-on and thorough, handling all cases personally from initial conversation to ultimate resolution.
